Off The Record is a new charity Q&A dinner series presented by the Wallace Foundation Rescue Helicopter Trust, bringing you unfiltered conversations with some of New Zealand's most respected names. Each year, the series turns its spotlight on a different topic, but the format stays the same: real stories, honest reflection, and a room full of people who care about keeping the Trust's helicopters in the air.

This inaugural edition, Beyond the Black Jersey, is a rugby special. Joining us for the evening are four men who've shaped the game at its highest level:

Ian Kirkpatrick MBE – Former All Blacks captain and one of the finest flankers the game has produced, with 39 test caps between 1967 and 1977
David Kirk MBE – Captained the All Blacks to victory in the inaugural 1987 Rugby World Cup before taking up a Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford
Taine Randell – Captained the All Blacks between 1996 and 1999, leading the side in 22 of his 51 tests
Darren Shand ONZM – Spent nearly 20 years as General Manager of the All Blacks, at the centre of two Rugby World Cup wins and over 250 test matches

Together they'll share the stories that don't usually make it into press conferences, from the pressure of the black jersey to the moments that stayed with them long after they left the field.

MC'd by David Todd from Toddy Talks, the evening promises sharp conversation and plenty of insight into what it really takes to wear the jersey.
